I've taken a few lessons from instructors at my local Music store, hated it and quit. The problem for me with those other instructors was, they wanted to teach me music how they learned music and frankly, I just wanted to learn to play the songs I love to sing a long with. I thought music just wasn’t for me then I heard that Jeff Shephard lead music instructor and founder of the 44^th Note was taking students.  I had recently seen Jeff playing and I caught the music bug again.  Long story short, The 44^th Note teaching style is just what I was looking for.  Currently, I am learning to play at my own pace and after 2 years I continue to have a blast learning music. I would venture to say, most of us students play because we love music and the instructors at the 44^th Note feel the same way and it shows in the enthusiasm they bring to each and every lesson.  If you want to learn how to play music, 44^th Note is the place to be!!
